MANNY PACQUIAO appears ready to announce his next fight after tweeting the number 60 in a cryptic message to fans.
Pacquiao is the only eight-division world champion in the history of boxing and is trying to retire on a high with a serious of high-profile fights.
But he was beaten by Australia's Jeff Horn in a WBO welterweight title fight in Brisbane two months ago and is yet to announce his next move.
However, a tweet today which simply read "#60" - a reference to his record which currently bears 59 wins - seems to suggest he is about to announce an upcoming fight.
And trainer Freddie Roach believes the best idea for the 38-year-old would be to take on Horn again.
"I do want him to take the rematch with Jeff Horn," Roach told Sky Sports.
"That would be, I think, the best fight for him at this point and it looks like that might happen next year, early next year.
"We've got other offers to fight Crawford and some other guys. He's close to the end yes, but he's not finished yet though.
"He is still very dedicated, he works really hard and he puts 100 per cent into training every day when we're getting ready for a fight."
However, Roach would then rather see him hang up his gloves to concentrate on his political career - Pacquiao already has to manage his boxing with his role as a senator in the Philippines.
"I would like to see him retire after [the Horn] fight because being a senator and a professional boxer is way too much," Roach added.
"It's two jobs that are very, very demanding.
"I would like to see Manny concentrate on being a great senator and then maybe a great president someday."
