State-owned Radyo Pilipinas’ resident news commentator Erwin Tulfo has given Ombudsman Conchita Carpio – Morales a chance to experience what it feels like to be on the receiving end of his no holds barred commentary.
In Tulfo’s Facebook page, where he posted his video criticizing the Morales, He identified almost one by one, why this ombudsman is a true blue “Dilawan”.
But what triggered Erwin to do the video is the statement by Morales towards the president saying if Mr. Duterte has nothing to hide then he has nothing to fear.
Her statement was an answer to the president’s plan to create a body investigating the Office of the Ombudsman.
Mr. Tulfo slammed morales on her statement saying that it is not about the President, it is about her office who refuse to define the word fairness and impartiality.
According to Erwin, Morales only filed complaints and charges against people who are not part of the Liberal party.
One proof he said is the 3 senators who were jailed because of the infamous Pork Barrel Scam, spearheaded by Janet Lim – Napoles.Erwin said on his video that these senators are all coming from different parties not allied with the then ruling party.
Tol’ Erwin emphasized that the reason why President Duterte will create a body to investigate the Office of the Ombudsman is because of their record of being biased.
He even said that she can investigate President Duterte’s hidden wealth for all he cares but she has to make sure that she will be fair.
According to Erwin, the people now are not stupid like before. The public now is more knowledgeable about their surroundings. So Morales should answer them why she didn’t persecute the other members of the Liberal Party who has a hand on the mentioned scam?
Erwin’s tirade goes on and on and on. but the point is, the statement of Conchita does not answer the question of the public. Morales needs to explain what happened.
